The natural world has always been an inspiration to me; a place to feel at home, discover magic and uncover mysteries, a place that nurtures my spirit, feeds my soul and fills me to the brim with wonder, awe and gratitude.
Inspired by the beauty and wild energy along the coast, where an insistent moon-driven sea, infused with light and color of sky and the energy of wind, ripples, swells, heaves, curls, crests, crashes, and splashes against the rocky shoreline, I delight in courting the muse! We go deep into color, soar into light, ride the waves and laugh with delight.
Reflecting a poetry of ever-changing light, illuminated color and bold energy in my paintings is spiritual work and play. I celebrate the joy of life and the beauty and wonder of the natural world that nourishes me so deeply. Time flies as I get lost and then found again.
