One morning I walked to the beach and found it covered with fresh color-filled remnants of seaweed that had washed in on the last tide.  The colors were vibrant and amazing!  When I returned later that same day the beach had been washed clean and the seaweed was gone.

This encaustic work of art  holds that memory and has an image photographed that morning embedded in the painting.
